How do I keep an Internet explorer window locked open while surfing the web?

Sometimes windows will close while you surf the web,how do I tell I.E to keep a certain window open all the time.

Answers:
This isn't normal! I think your best bet would be..

Goto 'Tools',
Then 'Internet Options'
Then 'Advanced' (tab)
And finally, click on 'Restore Defaults'

And this should fix your problem!

Give it a go!

The window shouldn't be closing unless you close it. There is no way to "lock" a window open.
1. Dont close it
2. When you follow a link, shift and click the link, this way, it will open in a new window OR right click the link and choose open in new window.
check your computor timer and extend period
I am not sure if this is what is needed but, D/load Tweakiu and set it up very easy to do, Recommended by Microsoft (but don't let that put you of) LOL Then look in the menu of Tweakiu and go to change focus this will stop the second window you open from stealing the first, therefore you will always have an open window.

Hope this helps.

Good Luck.
