Internet explorer keeps closing all of a sudden....?

you either got some malware or a corrupted copy of ie. I would run avg antivirus by grisoft and spybot search & destroy and see what happens but that may not help ie you may have to go to microsoft and do another download
or use firefox..
I did when I was using IE. That's why I started using Mozilla Firefox and it works very well.
that happens to me all the time, the cable line might be down or there is a virus, what i do is i reboot my computer and eventually it will stop and let you one i hope this helps you.
the same thing happens to me, I just not use the internet, or I just restart the computer. I suggest you download a new internet browser like netscape because i have always thought that internet explorer goes slower.
check to make sure you don't have a virus or a worm those can slow your computer pretty badly. Get a good antivirus such as AVG.
Internet explorer is doing so many things now that it cannot really keep itself functioning. It is just to big without being redesigned to handle all those tasks.
That is exactly what firefox/mozilla is. It is fresh and designed to handle anything you throw at it and not lose speed or close up.
Even though you should change to mozilla, I would first get rid of your IE and get a clean copy of IE6, not 7 and install it. Then download Mozilla and make it the default browser.
Then you need to go to Java.com or sun microsystems and update your java and get active x. There you go.
try running a virus scan. if that doesn't help, then you will have to re-install your windows.
Your Internet Explorer was infected by a Trojan or any spyware, try downloading from other PC and install to your PC the Mozilla FireFox and install different plugins to protect you.
Or, download and scan using AdAware from LavaSoft or Windows Defender.
