My internet explorer have stopped responding..I judge I've added toolbars etc. and I've overloaded the system.
. I'm using vista..fairly alien computer. I think, if truth be told, when I started to work with Yahoo 'answers' I must enjoy picked up a bug..?
Answers: You're probably right about over burdening Internet Explorer. Try resetting Internet Explorer to non-attendance settings.
Click Tools, Internet Options. Click on the Advanced Tab. On the advanced page next to reset Internet Explorer settings...click Reset. Follow any remaining instructions. You Will immediately have a "fresh copy" of Internet Explorer that Will run more densely. Just remember that the more bells and whistles you make a payment to IE, the slower it will run until it crashes(freezes).
Explorer is simply a terrible browser. Switch to Firefox or Camino and you'll hold a much more pleasurable experience online. Try emptying your acting internet files and the cache. (Go to Tools and Preferences or Options -- I can't remember). You're better off using Mozilla Firefox -- it's free and it is better than IE.
Also, to attach onto the information above, try this.
Go to Start>Run>msconfig
Click on the startup tab at the far right, and uncheck all the programs you do not use, or you do not call for to start up. This is a list of adjectives the programs that start up when you turn on your computer, and log it. It can cause massive wad (slowdown) in your system, and most of them don't stipulation to be run anyway. You can see a list of running programs at the lower right-hand side of your computer peak, use the arrow you may see to expand the list. After you do such, reboot your computer.
Do a Google explore for AVG, go to the AVG website, download their free anti-virus software. Run a virus scan, delete anything you find. Reboot an alternative time.
Get rid of the toolbars and everything next. Then, install Firefox.
www.firefox.com.
That is a internet browser resembling IE, but much better in language of usability, and everything else for that matter. You should involve any of the toolbars you already have, close to I said, get rid of them.
EDIT: For the post up above, Tools>Internet Options
