You can't, it is built into windows. why would you want to.
go it alone.. there is no idea in the world to mess next to that if you want mozilla firefox youll have a differnt statue but you wont be able to find online if you even could delete that.

Depenlapseg on which version of Windows your using, you used to know how to remove windows components by going to Control Panel - Add Remove Programs click on "Windows Components" and next uncheck the box next to I.E. or any other Windows Component you dont use (some of the preinstalled games, word wipe, etc). You cannot delete IE, it is an integral part of Windows. Attempting to remove IE can totally bork your operating system.
Besides you must use Internet Explorer for Windows Updates. Without Updates, you put your computer at a huge risk of self compromised by virus or other malware.
You can do it. It's part of Windows.
