I've have this problem for 2 days now, merely took over my parents old laptop.All their files enjoy been uninstalled and delete but since ive done this nothing will install. I've tried every suggestion i can capture...unblocking pop ups, allowing activeX, changing my shelter level to milieu, stopping my firewall, even deleting internet explorer and using BT Yahoo! browser, but still i cannot download a item and an error box appears telling me internet explorer cannot download report. I dont even have explorer anymore and it's still stirring. Please help im stuck!
Answers: Well, you can not in fact get rid of IE because it's alike program used to open any other folder or drive on your system. Open up "My Documents" and type www.yahoo.com into the address pole and it takes you to yahoo. If nil will install it may be because there is some issue near Windows and something is corrupt and you need to reinstall Windows from the Boot disc that come with the computer. Also check which interpretation of Windows you have. Windows NT is a mass distribution altered copy of Windows used in Schools and Businesses and will not allow you to download and install add-ons or things similar to that.
