"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" on pogo?



               
I have been playing on pogo for years and now all of a sudden I can get the main pogo page to load then when I try to sign in it says "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" I have tried for 2 days to fix this problem. I have done everything that everone has suggested on here about this problem. I even did a system restore and still I am getting the same error. What am I doing wrong?

System Restore DOES NOT fix such problem, so if you are facing the same kind of problem next time, don't waste time doing it.

Usually when that message pops out it means that a) your connection cannot hook up to the website because your internet is not connected or b) the website is down. I don't know much about that website, but maybe it's just down for maintainence. If it's not and only your computer cannot display it, then go to IE > Tools >Internet Options > and just delete all the downloaded temp files and cookies and reset connect settings. Also make sure that that website has not been banned by another user on that computer.
did it say to update your flash player? go ahead and do that so you can make certain that is not the problem.
