When I click on a link, it opens a new page, but its small and I want to permanently make new pages big (not full screen because I still want the taskbar to be there)

Move the mouse to the lower right hand corner of the web page. When it chages to double arrow cursor then just click and drag to the size you wnat. If you close and reopen Internet. It remembers the last size you used as a registry setting.
