Why does anybody use Internet Explorer when Mozilla Firefox is so superior?

Answers:
A lot of people use Internet Explorer for a variety of different reasons. Some people who are on corporate computers are restricted from installing new software, and as such have to use IE. Others use sites that don't work in Firefox, and are rather reluctant to use two different browsers when they could just use one. Some might choose that because IE is so integrated into the Windows OS, they may as well keep it, as why go to the trouble of installing more software? Still others find Firefox too large a download over a slow dialup connection.

However, for the vast majority, it's the pure ignorance that there is a choice out there to be made. Either that or an unwillingness to try something new.
what the hell is mozilla firefox?
pure laziness
Good question! I use Firefox also.
IE is already present, so it would take both the desire and will to find out there's an alternative, and then the desire and will to put in the effort to change. I can't think of any other reason.
There are a few sites that won't quite work with firefox, but they just don't get my business if that's the case.
i think that opera rulez. opera is the best browser. it's much faster than firefox...
