I have windows xp home sp2, and IE 6. I had to reinstall windows?



               
this weekend. I did windows update and checked everything I could think of before I tried to download IE 7 again. I went to Yahoo downloads and tried to download IE 7 and it tells me my system does not meet all the requirements for IE 7. What's next??

Answers:
Go back to Windows Update again. It can take several trips there to fully update a reinstall of Windows. There are actually updates to the updates.

My last reformat and reinstall of XP took me about 5 trips to Update to give me a fully patched XP SP2 machine. SP2 is required for IE7.
it means hardware is not supported ..you need to check ur memory n space ..

n why dont u try fire fox mozilla its fast browsing ..n you can get free from http://vrajesh.co.nr
thats strange, all you need for IE7 is SP2, if you haven't installed a bunch o stuff, just reinstall windows. Also you could try downloading it from a site other than Microsoft.com, like softpedia, or something. they don't require you to get your PC authenticated, which might be your problem.
better use the faster mozilla firefox rather than that stucking ie7
