Why cant i download internet explorer?? the newer version?

don't install it i recommend you to install firefox, a big difference you will see, IE 7 is ok but firefox is faster, i installed ie 7 myself and thers is no BIG difference between 6 and 7 :)
i guess you dont have a legit version of windows.if you do then try reinstalling windows..and try again microsoft will check the validity of your version of windows.if its not legit, it will stop you from updating...
probably not, that is one of the big issues with MS genuine validation, it doesn't work, but the good news is you don't really need the new version for anything, just a side note to the answer above, you CAN have a LEGAL version and their stupid validation thing still DOESN'T work!
You might have to get the Update from microsofts updatesite and download the Genuine Software check, but if you are running a cracked version of windows then you probably wont be able to get it.
I havent been able to get any updates that I need unless I activate my XP. I tried it but then again it's "WINDOWS"
Hi, if windows genuine check sees your copy of xp as faulty in any way it will refuse to allow the download.
do you have a hologrammed version of xp?
