What does it mean when i get , Cannot find server or dns error Internet explorer?

it may be a problem with ur connection,. but as u r loggin in to yahoo massenger, it shouldnt b. so the address you hav typed is wrong
when u typ n inet address n press ok, the machine asks the nearest DNS server(Domain Name Server) what the address means. It's bcoz that though v remember inet sites by addresses, the computer only knows them by IP address.(somethin lik xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - ex, 192.121.048.010). So when u type a name, the computer asks the DNS server to giv the IP address of the name u typed. So the error means that the DNS server u contacted dont kno such a name (it dont hav the name u typed on their data base). Try changin the sit name (ex. puttin .net instead of .com.etc) that'd work.
see basically it will come for 2-types of issue..
1) when there is internet connection problem
2) some time if u wount provide the exact website name... for example.. "www.yahoo.com" yahoo is called as DNS .. if u typed yaho instead of yahoo then it will give u such error message

this means that ur internet caple is not fitted propaply or ur antivirus is blocking network from ur internet explorer u can change it from the settings of the antivirus
