I installed Internet Explorer 6 and enjoy problems?

Computer is slower.
Windows won't always close when I click on the "x".
Pages are sometimes unresponsive to mouse-clicks.

Can I revert put a bet on to the old Internet Explorer programme? Is that the best point to do, or is there a virus on my computer? I hold Norton Anti-Virus so there shouldn't be.
That also happen to me. Internet Explorer crashes when i have too various programs open at once perchance??
Then it becomes non-responsive :|
I other have to use responsibility manager to close it.
BUT..i downloaded Firefox and it's much faster and page don't crash.
If you have an anti-virus program you should be ok.
Try delete Internet Explorer and downloading Firefox...
www.mozilla.com/Firefox
^think that'll work ;)

Your problem depends on many things:
- how various programs you have instigate in duplicate time
- what sites you have open (some slow computers)
- what is your computer (could be old slow model)
- how much memory you hold on it
- keep surrounded by mind that Norton Anti-Virus is a resource-hog - it slows computer a lot. I don't enunciate you uninstall it, but keep this surrounded by mind.
- when was the concluding time you restarted windows - it wishes it sometimes
- when was the finishing time you re-installed windows - time to time you entail to re-install everything (back-up your important files and jump on)

Best solution I recommend is:
- back-up your important files (documents, photos...)
- re-install window (or have someone do it for you)
- re-install simply the programs you really need

This is where on earth Norton AV or just any other anti-virus program cames useless - if you know how to protect yourself, you don't requirement it:
- don't open suspicious emails (especially if they hold suspicious attached files)
- don't use microsoft outlook to read emails - it is vulnerable to attacks much more than other software. better read your messages online with your browser
- when contained by chat someone you don't know sends you file, don't unseal it.
- sometimes people you know sends you mail with attached files and subjects you can't remember what they are for - don't plain such. this is send by virus , infected your frienwinding upmachine
- don't monitor porn sites - most of them are malicious
- same applies to some casino sites
- also for most sites offering free downloads of commercial software
- anything looks unknown and/or suspicious - just delete it.

This would back you and your windows for a long time.

Also for internet browser better use Opera or Firefox - they are smaller quantity vulnerable to attacks. At most minuscule if you really want Explorer - install I.Explorer7.

For emails you could use Thunderbird, instead of Outlook.

Forgot: Windows is best re-installed from scratch, not higher than the old installation.
