"Internet Explorer" hardly works. What can I do?

IE has so many security problems its just not worth it. Even IE7, Beta version has problems. Either use Firefox or Opera. Firefox has a good website for dowloading plug ins and themes as well. Same with Opera - you can also sign up for a free webmail account and join the Opera community. These are the two best browsers going I think.
Also you might be having spyware/virus problems. Use a good firewall and anti-virus programme. Zone Alarm firewall is good - and its free. AVG anti-virus is good too - and free. Also sweep your computer for spyware/adware. It's best to give the computer a sweep with two different programs for added security. Adaware and Spybot won't put you wrong.
Download Internet Explorer 7 beta 3 from www.microsoft.com and u wont have any complaints in future. I assure you this.

Get Opera it works with most sites and less problems that IE
try uninstalling it and installing it again...and if that dont work.try the new beta version...it's great.=]
Internet Explorer sucks.download Mozilla Firefox...it works a heck of a lot better and has better pop-up blocker protection.
Download Firefox insted it much better than Internet Explorer.

Youve got major virus problems. If you know how, and have back up disks, do a re format. Ask for help from a friend, not online, who can come round and help you. otherwise see a pc shop. DO NOT do any banking, buying, or enter any personal information, till then.
Very few people use internet explorer. It is to suseptable to viruses. I use Mosila Firfox for my browser. It's faster and a free download. Also try CCleaner another free download too clean out all your unwanted cookies. Will speed up your computer.

3) Restart your computer

5) Install this browser and use wherever possible (some badly designed and tested sites will not work on anything other than Internet Explorer).
If this does not work, then try de-installing IE completely... Sorry, it's getting late and I am being sarcastic :-)
What do you mean it hardly works? What is happening? There is Netscape, FireFox and also it could be a java issue, depends on what you are experienceing.
