On your internet browser, how do you get rid of...?

when i type in a keyword to search for, on any search engine, a little list of things that i've searched for in the past pops up. and when i begin to type in a web address, like www.y (as in yahoo.com) a scroll bar comes up with suggestions like www.youtube.com. how do i make those suggestions/scroll bars go away and stop displaying personal information! (such as what websites i've visited)

Answers:
Depending on what browser your are using, it's slightly different.

If your using Firefox...go to TOOLS, then CLEAR PRIVATE DATA. When the window comes up, make sure there is a check mark on SAVED FORMS and HISTORY. That will erase anything you typed into the search and address bars.

If your using Internet Explorer...go to TOOLS, then INTERNET OPTIONS. Select CONTENT, then click AUTOCOMPLETE. Then click on CLEAR FORMS.

Hope that helps.
IN IE Tools-Internet Options-Content: turn off the autocomplete function.

In Tools-Internet Options-General clear history.
That a tough one..I remember doing it getting rid of it but it wasi nthe past..go through your options on the toolbar in the upper left corner of your screen.

Umm what he said.
u need to delete ur history and that will also go away...
