Can anyone tell me how to prevent outlook express from starting when internet explorer opens up in XP?
Answers:
Go to {start}, {control panel}, {add or remove programs}, click on the third option down the left side {add/remove windows components}. When that window loads up, remove the check mark from the Outlook Express area and the program will uninstall the bootable part of outlook express. I had to do that as well cause I use the email program Incredimail.
it's either in your start up folder or it's flagged to open with internet explorer which is in the tools or preferences in outlook
dont start it

Most of the Outlook Express error messages are due to problems with the internet connection, not the software on your computer.
