"Yahoo! - TAGA LIPA ARE!" IE title bar?

This is how my title bar looks like... I only noticed this yesterday (1 day from now) but I don't know what made it become this way... I thought it's a virus or something but I scanned my computer and it's still there. I even upgraded my IE6 to IE7 but it stayed the same. Every site I visit there is this phrase 'TAGA LIPA ARE!' that appears in the IE title bar. Mozilla is not like that... Help! Is this a virus or some trick to retrieve my personal internet information??

Try this one... its 100% effective

My Computer -> Tools Menu -> Folder Options -> View Tab:

Select: Show hidden Files and Folders

Uncheck: Hide Extensions for known file type and Hide Protected operating system (Set this back to the original settings after dealing with the problem)

Click Yes Then OK.

You will see an autorun.inf and FS6519.dll.vbs in all your harddrives. Delete ALL of them. (you'll see this in your USB HDD/Flash drives as well)

If it says that something is using the program. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and go to processes, end ALL wscript.exe

Then go to run type regedit and then press ok, go to Edit -> Find and type FS6519.dll.vbs.

Edit the found registry by selecting the name, ryt click and modify, remove the last two strings which is wscript.exe and FS6519.dll.vbs and click OK.

If finished, press F3 and it will search again for another, just do the same thing until nothing is found in your registry.

If you are done with the FS6519.dll.vbs, its time for the TAGA LIPA ARE! be edited in your IE,
type Taga Lipa Are on the search again then it will show up the IE title ... delete it
you have spyware
go to majorgeeks.com
download a free spyware program
Its in filipino language(Phillippines)
it means, Taga(from) Lipa(City in batangas)
so it basically means From Lipa of batangas
Some stupid person intentionally edited the IE folder in the registry by adding the string "Window Title" - Taga Lipa Are!. To remove it, follow the steps below:

1. Click start
2. Run "regedit"
3. Click edit
4. Click find, then type "Taga Lipa Are!", then execute.

Computer will search the phrase "Taga Lipa Are! in the registry. When you found it, delete the whole string," Window Title- Taga Lipa Are!". Done. Try opening your browser and it will return to the orginial title "Windows Internet Explorer".

Good Luck.
i found this in a forum. the "Taga lipa Are" is a modification of the "Hacked by Godzilla" malware.

Hello im Dragantra the original creator of TAGA LIPA ARE! virus...Its a virus but it gives no harm to your computer. anyway...to delete the virus you need to disable the "Hide Protected Operating System Files" in your Windows Explorer folder options (TOOLS > FOLDER OPTIONS > VIEW). Search the file name FS6519.dll.vbs (THE VIRUS) in your hard drive or just to make sure in your My Computer then delete the file. Note: On searching make sure you activated "Search Hidden Files and Folders" on more advance options. If one of "FS6519.dll.vbs" failed to delete run the Task Manager by holding CTRL+ALT+DELETE then on the process area find "WSCRIPT" then end this process, you can now delete the file "FS6519.dll.vbs". Then to get rid of the word "TAGA LIPA ARE!" on your internet Explorer go to your windows registry (START > RUN - then type regedit)Search the word "TAGA LIPA ARE!" and "FS6519" in the following registry location

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\M...
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MI... EXPLORER\MAIN\Window Title"

right click and delete, never try to rename the window title just delete it.. Your done.!

Note: For best result i recommend to do it in Safe Mode

SORRY FOR INCONVINIENCE.
