Black clock appears surrounded by lower departed corner; Internet Explorer won't nouns?



               
When I friendly Explorer, a tiny black clock appears in the lower gone corner. It's the size of a tiny icon. When it appears, my internet will not nouns. I've used Ad-Aware, Spybot and Advanced Windows Care. What is that clock? Is it malware?
Not very sure what that clock is - you may post the eyeshade image. Do you find any error messages / pop-ups?

Possibilities:

Infection might be there.

Suggestions:

1.
Insert XP disk.
Goto Command prompt
Type sfc /scannoww

2.
Update your Adware / spybot / anti-virus scanners
Run respectively of them from safe mode


If still you cannot access IE,

Change the user (you can create strange one from control panel / user mgmt) and see if explorer works.

Then repeat the step 1 & 2 from new user.
