Why can I not download internet explorer seven even though I am running on windows xp?

Why bother - use Firefox instead, it's far superior to IE anyway
you need to update your system it is out of date you need more ram try 1024mbr and a Dual Core Processor ,new Graphics card new sound card better motherboard all new then your be ok
try freeing up some hard drive space. something is making you fail the check
i have a 1 gigahertz laptop with 256 megs of ram, and 17 gigs free on my hd, it installed fine.
