What is the story with AOL? Can you even open a web page on their browser?
Answers:
Don't use AOL.
I prefer Firefox to anything, myself. The new Internet explorer took a lot of their ideas for new features from Mozilla. Plus, it seems like Firefox is more secure as far as mysterious downloads occurring and settings being changed.
I'm in no way advertising, I still do use both, since IE works better with multimedia and flash for some reason. Even while logged onto AOL (if it's a dial-up connection), I'd use a different browser - AOL's isn't very good.
AOL uses a different set up and has it's own browser. When you click on the AOL window there should be something that looks like internet...click on that.
