I have just noticed problems with applications that are using Internet Explorer 6?



               
I have just noticed problems with applications that rely on internet explorer in the application browser such as with winamp. I have Inernet Explorer 6. If i upgrade to 7 will there still be browser problems, and will i still be able to control my Explorer settings completly if i upgrade.

IE 7 is still in beta...so it still has a lot of bugs in it yet.

I have to agree get Firefox it's safer and faster than IE

I suggest you download firefox. It is far superior to IE6. IE 7 is not that good either as it is still a beta version so it is not yet finished.

Depends. The problem may be due to changes to your internet explorer by malware. Even if you install the new IE 7 beta (that's if it installs) the problems from 6 may be carried over to 7. Scan your computer for viruses and spyware first, then try to upgrade. Also you can try advanced windows care, it may solve the problem.
