If I've be using Internet Explorer for over 3 years and want to switch to Firefox, what settings will I lose?

Ive be using IE for a few years and always hold problems with it. Im curious give or take a few Firefox cause Ive hear its so much better and also it doesnt trace everything you do like IE does.

Im wondering if I switch to Firefox after using IE for so long how will it shift things. Will I lose all my "favorites" and other settings. Will I hold to start everything over from scratch? WHAT EXACTLY does it effect?

I dont want to variety the wrong choice so your help would be appreciated.

Answers:    First of adjectives, Firefox tries to make the transition effortless. It imports your Favorites from IE.

Second, switching to Firefox isn't an all-or-nothing situation. It's not with the sole purpose possible, but a good impression, to keep IE around for those sites that don't really support Firefox (including Microsoft's own Microsoft Update site). So if you ever want to step back to IE, it's still available.

Hope that help.
During installation you have the leeway to import adjectives the settings from explorer ,so you lose nothing but the problems.
