Windows is Internet Explorer, just unstop a folder and type your address in the address dowel, and thats IE.
I have no view! Does it help if u stimulate? loll. maybe your computer crashed back the last time you shut it down because of some problem approaching virus. So try to install it again or restart your computer.
try deleting your temp files and cache from the internet option
it should help...

also i recomdn u switchin over to firefox
type iexplore at the RUN at the START Button of Windows . . .
If it still can't be open try reinstalling the internet explorer by downloading it at the internet . . . INternet explorer is not a system application but resides in c://windows/programs
