I have windows xp, which version of IE should I have on my pc?
Answers:
i dont like 7 .. but i use firefox myself ...
IE7
Im going to say the newest one 7.0 because when you dont have the newest version to most things, there are problems and stuff that the newer versions fix.
Either 6 or 7 - which ever one you prefer. I love tabs so I like 7, but 6 is fine too. A good compromise would be to have version 6 and to also have Firefox, which has tabs also.
There are some known issues with applications that use extensive html coding in their UI and help systems with IE 7, but for the most part IE 7 is great after a slight learning curve.
I have quite a few computers and about half have 6 and half have 7... but only because I have not bothered to do the update on some - they both work well.
I would try Internet Explorer 7, but if you don't like it you can also use Firefox, I use both and pretty much the same.
IE6 is good. IE7 is not that big of an update, it's really up to you. Some sites do cause my IE7 to close without any warning, so I'd suggest IE6 for that reason alone.
And, reconsider using Firefox. I use portablefirefox on my USB drive so everywhere I go, my settings, favorites, and passwords all come with me.
None. Use Firefox. More secure, better experience. Can you block all popup ads AND all on-page ads with IE? Nope. You can with Firefox, though.
if your window xp is genuine than only you can use IE-7.other wise you can use IE-6.Opera is another good option.
Yes...yes which ever one you like better IE6 or IE7 I think IE6 is better than IE7...but Firefox is better than either one of them.
