How do you repair Internet explorer ?
Answers: you didn't say-so what the problem with IE is. Running System Restore doesn't fix software, newly reverts the system to an earlier time, primarily for retrieving files or udoing a convert tot he system. Try running windows update, or surrounded by your programs list from the start menu, navigate to find where on earth IE (no add-ons) is listed and see if it runs.....if it does its probably a toolbar error, or something is corrupted within the folder. If you can get it to run you can gain to windows update site and "reinstall" IE....but for download firefox to a jump drive on a "working" notebook then install from the spring to the "non-working" pc.....later you'll have a more immobilize browser and be able to run updates and capture antivirus programs and the like to scan and repair your system
you could download mozilla firefox or downloan from limewire inenternet explorer Try this, but merely if you are using Internet Explorer 7 on a Windows XP machine.
To revert vertebrae to IE-6, use your add / remove programs contained by control panel, just be sure that "Show Updates" is checked up at the top.
Then, if you yearning, you can go to Windows Updates and re-download and re-install IE-7.
You can try downloading ccleaner, adaware, spybot and run them adjectives for malware and viruses. All minicab be downloaded for free at www.filehippo.com.
If that does not work, go to microsoft net site and try downloading IE-7 again.
Worse case you may enjoy to format, hope not...good luck..
