I hold internet on Firefox but I cant connect to the internet through internet explorer. Whats wrong?



Internet works fine on my other appplications such as Firefox but anything associated next to Internet Explorer doesnt work at all. I dont get why.

Check the firewall settings as yayie posted -- consequently I'd also check for a proxy server in your internet settings. From in IE, click Tools --> Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN Settings. Check to see that "Use a proxy server for your LAN" is unchecked -- or if you actually do use a proxy, get sure the settings are correct.
IE sucks. but you should know how to reinstall it to see if that helps. use Firefox...it's waaay better.
Try this mate :

Start > Search > Windows firewall

Windows Firewall
1. Change Settings > Exceptions tab
2. Check "Internet Explorer"
