simply get Mozilla Firefox, its loads better & supposedly safer and more reliable. In adjectives good conscious I can't detail you anything about IE because I use Firefox and believe it to be 100 times better than Internet Explorer....

lately type the site name and click ctrl+enter
for example type 'whatever' surrounded by adress then basically click 'ctrl+enter'

type yahoo and then pres CTRL+ENTER
IE sucks your problem is one of the principle I do not use it. And it is a open door to my operating system while You are on the Internet....
Please install Firefox IE 7 or what ever the trial number explorer is a disaster
